{"id":1643,"date":"2011-04-27T09:45:02","date_gmt":"2011-04-27T08:45:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.free-from.com\/blog\/?p=1643"},"modified":"2017-05-20T11:45:17","modified_gmt":"2017-05-20T10:45:17","slug":"go-free-food","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.free-from.com\/blog\/go-free-food\/","title":{"rendered":"Go Free Food"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gofreefoods.co.uk\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.free-from.com\/blog\/wp-content\/go-free-foods.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"go-free-foods\" width=\"300\" height=\"256\" align=\"right\" \/><\/a>We were delighted to receive a parcel recently from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gofreefoods.co.uk\">Go Free Foods <\/a>containing beautifully presented samples of their products: chocolate brownies and macaroons.<\/p>\n<p>Go Free is a relatively new company, started only last year, but is already having great success; the chocolate brownies won an award at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freefromfoodawards.co.uk\/\">Free From Foods Awards<\/a> earlier this month. This is a triumph for Charlotte, who runs the company: congratulations!<\/p>\n<p>And the brownies are, undeniably, excellent (my daughter loved them). In my view, though, the macaroons are even better: soft and moist, just as I like them. Note that all the Go Free products contain almonds, so if you&#8217;re not an almond fan, these aren&#8217;t for you. But if you like almonds, you&#8217;ll really enjoy these goodies.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gofreefoods.co.uk\">Go Free<\/a> have a new website up, and you can order from there. It&#8217;s worth visiting, just to admire the photos of the cakes, which look just as good as they taste.<\/p>\n<p>As well as running her gluten free business, Charlotte writes a free from blog at the <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.hellomagazine.com\/freefromkitchen\/\">Hello Magazine<\/a> site. Not only that (wow, she&#8217;s a busy woman) she&#8217;ll be cooking live at the Allergy Show at the beginning of May.
