{"id":1980,"date":"2012-04-30T13:49:31","date_gmt":"2012-04-30T12:49:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.free-from.com\/blog\/?p=1980"},"modified":"2017-05-20T11:42:36","modified_gmt":"2017-05-20T10:42:36","slug":"gluten-free-tipping-point","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.free-from.com\/blog\/gluten-free-tipping-point\/","title":{"rendered":"Gluten Free Tipping Point?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Are we at a tipping point?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.free-from.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/tipping-point.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"tipping point\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1982\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.free-from.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/tipping-point.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.free-from.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/tipping-point-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Has living gluten free finally become normalised?<\/p>\n<p>In the course of one day last week, I learnt that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>one of the restaurants in our nearest town has a gluten free menu<\/li>\n<li>one of the bakeries in that town has a poster in the window, advertising that they stock gluten free products (it turns out these are from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.glutenfreefood.info\/\">Gluten Free Kitchen<\/a>, and they are delicious, particularly the carrot cake and the coffee and walnut&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>and the cafe down the road is stocking <a href=\"http:\/\/www.delicedefrance.co.uk\">Delice de France<\/a> gluten free bread rolls and sweet muffins. I didn&#8217;t even know Delice de France offered gluten free products!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So: is the gluten free diet becoming the norm, and acceptable in the way that, say, the vegetarian diet is acceptable? Or was this just one day in which I <strong>really looked<\/strong> at my local town?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are we at a tipping point?
