There is a lovely story on Parenting a child with a food allergy<\/a>. This blog is written by parents with children who have multiple allergies – including one with an egg allergy, who is therefore unable to eat the usual variety of brownies. But they have discovered a company called Cherrybrook Kitchen<\/a>, who produce cake mixes that are peanut-free, dairy-free, egg-free, nut-free and – crucially from my point of view – gluten-free.<\/p>\n A short quote:<\/p>\n “The look on my daughter\u2019s face almost brought tears to my eyes when she said, \u201cI get to eat brownies now too, just like you guys.\u201d She spends so much of her life hearing, \u201cNo, I\u2019m sorry honey, it has (insert allergy here), we\u2019ll get you something else.\u201d I feel happy to say, \u201cYes, of course you can have a brownie!\u201d “<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Brought tears to my eyes too.
