Recently we bought a pack of gluten free brioche from Lifestyle, and found it to be inedible, so I binned it. Later, having been prompted by a similar message on the Message Board, I contacted Lifestyle to comment on this.
Very impressively, I received a personal e-mail within hours asking for more details, and a replacement pack within days. Turned out that the first pack hadn’t been proved for long enough, and so the resultant brioche was unsuccessful. The replacement pack was much better – much more what I had expected the first time.
I was very impressed by the level of customer service. Lifestyle wouldn’t have lost me as a customer, as my daughter really enjoys many of their products, but nevertheless, they worked hard to keep me happy. Sometimes, given the restricted options available, I feel that we are a captive market for the manufacturers, but this made me feel valued as a customer. Well done to Lifestyle!
