Sweet Things – gluten free and gorgeous

Natalie Allen, at Sweet Things in London, produces cakes that look just gorgeous – and some of them are gluten free.

Fancy Apple & Cinnamon cake? Clementine cake? Or Chocolate cake? There’s also the mini pavlovas …

Some of her cakes are available mail-order as gift boxes. Though the site says that only the with-gluten versions can be posted, Natalie tells me that she can post a box of mini gluten free brownies – the gluten free chocolate cake cut into miniatures, placed in petits fours cases and wrapped in raffia etc, just like the mini brownies gift box you can see on the Sweet Things website.

The big gluten free cakes are only available in Selfridges, London at the moment – though they’ll be coming to Manchester and Birmingham soon. Presumably that’s in Selfridges too …

I’ve written a book summarising what we’ve learnt over 20 years of dealing with the gluten free diet, and it might be just what you’re looking for. It packs the lessons we’ve learned into what I hope is a helpful and straightforward guidebook. It’s available on Amazon, as a paperback or for your Kindle…
