Wheatless Bay – naturally gluten free in 100 words

Quick link today to wheatlessbay.wordpress.com, a blog with links to lots of gluten free recipes, which look great, and are based on naturally gluten free ingredients, rather than using specialist products. Apparently each post is less than 100 words … I haven’t checked!

I’m looking forward to trying the turkish-style aubergine and lentil casserole – I really like the way Wheatless Bay amend the recipes freely, depending on what’s available. I don’t have pomegranate molasses in my cupboard, so I might follow the Wheatless Bay version and use honey and lemon. It’s a long slow cook this one, so I’d better go and get it started …

I’ve written a book summarising what we’ve learnt over 20 years of dealing with the gluten free diet, and it might be just what you’re looking for. It packs the lessons we’ve learned into what I hope is a helpful and straightforward guidebook. It’s available on Amazon, as a paperback or for your Kindle…

Yes – very interesting. I usually just thicken sauces with cornflour – I’ve never tried making a roux with rice flour. Something to add to the to do list …
