… because I’ve just found another provider of what look like fabulous cookies, but only in America.
How can this be? Where is the company that will import the best of the very best gluten free products from around the world to us here in the UK? I want American granola and pasta, Finnish pizza and Spanish bread. And I want it now …
Dr Lucy (and this is really weird, because I’m Dr Lucy too, though not a medical doctor) makes cookies that are free from wheat, milk, eggs, peanuts and tree nuts – and her oats are certified gluten free.
They look great.
I’ve written a book summarising what we’ve learnt over 20 years of dealing with the gluten free diet, and it might be just what you’re looking for. It packs the lessons we’ve learned into what I hope is a helpful and straightforward guidebook. It’s available on Amazon, as a paperback or for your Kindle… |

They do look good, but why import? We need UK manufacturers.
Andrew.

Hi Andrew – I suppose you’re right. UK manufacturers would be greener (and probably better for the economy!).
I’m just jealous. And I don’t really have the skills to set to and become a manufacturer myself …

I’ll trade you. You send me some UK-only products (like Plamil egg-free, soy-free mayo) and I’ll send you the US ones! :)
Lucy says
Not a bad idea … though I suspect the postage costs would be ridiculously high. Still, I’d love to come across and visit the States again soon, and load our suitcases up with GF stuff. Any excuse!
Is there really no egg-free soy-free mayo in the US?
